This seat is made of a single ply paper fiber rush. Usually on the teak chairs Danish cord is used. This being one of a set the fiber was used again to replace the seat. It is not the traditional weave so the pattern had to be duplicated. Not always as easy as it may sound when the old materials are taken off before the new product is put on. Photographs are useful and recommended when there isn't another chair at hand to show the pattern as it is being woven.
