This set has his and hers chairs plus the chesterfield. It is very hard to find these sets together. As the houses got smaller one of the chairs or even maybe the couch got separated. A relative had started to redo the couch and all that was left was the wood frame with springs and decorative wood parts. A pattern was made from one of the chairs in order to replace what was lost. The decorative wood was all refinished and a boosting of the soft parts in order to bring back the overall look of the set. These are called coffee table arms for a reason so custom arm covers were created to help save the fabric. Velcro tabs were upholstered into the frame that the arm covers attach to, saving them from constant adjusting and ending up on the floor.
