Caning & Wicker Repair

Wicker is a word which acts as an umbrella for many different mediums used for making woven furniture or seats of furniture. There is a variety of materials and methods which fall under this umbrella. Some of the weaving materials used on furniture are cane ( the skin of the rattan plant ), rattan reed ( the core of the rattan plant ), seagrass, danish cord, bull rush, paper fiber and sometimes even the bark of trees. Most furniture can be repaired provided the frame of the furniture itself is in good repair.
